Turf-Tec Soil Moisture Sensor
An ideal monitoring tool for golf greens, sports fields, new construction, lawns, and other turfgrass areas! Simple to use, this meter’s instant readout dial displays the percentage of moisture in soil. Readings below 25% indicate a lack of moisture for turfgrass roots. A reading above 75% signals there is not sufficient air space in the soil. Probe depth is adjustable from zero to 4˝, allowing you to obtain moisture readings at each level of the soil horizon. You can easily check moisture in thatch, mat, and soil above and below the root zone. The meter features weatherproof, non-corrosive metal construction, and the small 3/16˝ probes will not damage fine turfgrass areas or stressed turf. Made in USA.
